Cook Faster with a Gas Grill
Over the past couple of years more and more people prefer to cook their food using a gas grill. Nowadays nearly 80% of home cooking is done using a gas grill. People are using this method since it offers many advantages as opposed to cooking food using charcoal grills, the primary reason being the lack of soot and smoke in the gas grills.
How long does it take you to prepare and then light a charcoal charged oven? Just calculate the entire time and you will find the difference. With a gas grill all you have to do is turn on the regulator knob and light the gas coming out of the burners. Most gas grill use propane as their medium and these are very easy and convenient to use. Have you ever thought about the sequences and time required to light a charcoal charged burner? One has to dump the charcoal on the burner, pour lighter fluid over the charcoal and then light them. Apart from keeping an eye on the charcoal to see if they are burning or not you will have to wait for about 20 minutes before the burner is ready for use. With a gas grill you do not have to waste time and as soon as the cooking job is over, you can turn off the burner, something that cannot be done with charcoal stoves. Not to mention the washing of hands filled with soot and the smoke in case the charcoal is substandard. FeaturesIn case the recipe book recommends that a particular ingredient should be cooked at a certain temperature, it is impossible to do that in a charcoal stove. With a gas grill, you can easily monitor the temperature of the flame using an inbuilt thermometer. Milk cooked at low temperatures for a long time tastes awesome and to know that taste you have to slow boil it using a gas grill. Here comes the amazing part… with a gas grill that has multiple burners (the default is 2), you can set each burner to a different temperature. Since each burner has its own gas-controlling knob, one can set one to a higher temperature than the other. While you can set one to the highest temperature for boiling the urgently needed bowl of water, the milk can simmer on the other burner of the gas grill. Try to clean the charcoal oven and you will know why people are switching over to gas grills. It is far easier to clean a gas grill compared to the charcoal one since there are no messy ashes to remove. Apart from that, gas grills cool down faster hence one can start cleaning them within a few minutes of switching them off. Just remember, the only potential hazard of a gas grill is the propane gas itself. It is highly inflammable and care should be exercised when handling it. One should check the supply pipes for any cracks and leaks and rectify them immediately. Apart from this, the gas grill are extremely user friendly and if one applies common sense and follow precautions, there should be no problems.
